1960 Gibson GA-30RV Invader

Price: $1,249.99

1960 Gibson GA-30RV Invader tweed combo. 16-Watts.

Original untouched tone circuit with original coupling capacitors and carbon comp resistors. Original transformers. Original POTs and knobs. Original reverb tank and reverb footswitch. Original cabinet and grill cloth both in good overall condition for the age of the amp. Its one of the cleanest overall examples of this amp we have seen.

Original 12" Jensen P12R speaker dated 39th week of 1960 in excellent original condition with no tear or holes, and works/sounds great. The 8" speaker doesn't have any markings and is a bit of a mystery. The previous owner believed it to be original, but the amps originally came with a Jensen C8S, and we are not aware of any CS8 speakers ever having the grey metal basket that this one has. However, the magnet does look like a Jensen magnet. The speaker does look to be vintage, is in good physical condition, and sounds good.

Preamp tubes are (3) original Gibson labeled 6EU7s and (1) original Gibson labeled 12AU7, all of which tested very strong. Rectifier is a vintage (possibly original) Raytheon 5Y3 that tested good on both anode halves. The power tubes are new production JJ 6V6-S tubes.

Tone I/O has professionally serviced the amp with new Electrolytic power filter and bias caps and replacement of the original 2 prong power cord with a grounded 3-prong cord. Other than that, only general maintenance such as cleaning/re-tensioning tube sockets, cleaning jacks, and cleaning/lubricating POTs was all that was needed/performed. The original electrolytic caps will be included with the sale.

A previous owner installed an extension speaker jack in the middle of the control panel. We disconnected the jack to return the speaker wiring back to stock. Someone had also installed an extra tube socket in-between the V4 preamp tube socket and V5 power tube socket. The socket was not connected to anything, and we could not find any evidence of any of the original soldering being disturbed so appears the extra socket was never actually tied in to anything. We removed the extra socket and plugged the hole in the chassis where it was with a rubber grommet.

The amp sounds great with a low noise floor and smooth breakup that starts at around 4.5 on the volume channel with humbuckers when plugged into the first jack of either channel, similar to a Tweed Fender Deluxe or Princeton, and it cleans up nicely when you dial back on your guitar volume. The reverb works with the 2nd channel, and is a very strong and good sounding spring reverb.

Great early 60's tweed tone for much less than a Fender of the same era.

JHS 1969 London Smiley

Part of the "Legends of Fuzz" series from JHS. This is their recreation of the early silicon Fuzz Faces!

"The Smiley is clear and defined, straddling the line between distortion pedal and a searing sustain, sustaining low end and crisp mid-range bite that you expect from a vintage Arbiter unit. One of the most revered characteristics of a good Fuzz Face* is its ability to clean up when the guitar's volume is rolled back, and the Smiley does this effortlessly."

JHS 1972 Japan Supreme

Part of the "Legends of Fuzz" series from JHS. This is their recreation of the 1972 Univox Super-Fuzz!

"The Supreme is an exact replica of my favorite Super-Fuzz in my collection, my extremely rare black and grey model. Although every early version of this pedal sounds strikingly similar, this 1972 unit has a certain magic that makes it stand out above the others. Imagine an Octavia Fuzz that woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and that’s what you're plugging into here: a loud, screaming, full and vibrant octave fuzz that is always at 11."

JHS 1973 London Bender

Part of the "Legends of Fuzz" series from JHS. This is their recreation of the MKIII Tonebender!

"The JHS Bender is our attempt to recreate the most prized Tonebender* in my collection: my 1973 MK3 Silver/Orange “Onomatopoeia” version. This version has three very special germanium transistors, tons of mojo, and fifty plus years of experience, but it is finicky and it doesn’t always do what you want it to do. I had to ask: could we replicate this pedal sonically? Could we capture what it's all about, but in a way that is more consistent, dependable, and easy to manufacture? Yes. The end result is a pedal that gives you the touch, feel, and response of the vintage germanium fuzz but with accuracy and consistency of carefully chosen modern silicon transistors."

JHS 1992 Russia Crimson

Part of the "Legends of Fuzz" series from JHS. This is their recreation of the "Mike Matthews Red Army Overdrive" (technically the 7th version of the Big Muff Fuzz)!

"This is the very first Russian-made Big Muff ever produced and possibly the rarest of all time. Only manufactured in small numbers from 1991-1992, very few examples of this still exist, making this almost impossible to find. It shares characteristics with the famous Sovtek* “Civil War” (Late 1992) version, but it stands on its own. Warmer, clearer, and more defined than any of the Soviet Big Muffs that followed, the Red Army offers a unique flavor of a very familiar effect. The Crimson is an exact replica of my own Red Army Overdrive, allowing you to own a unique part of fuzz history."

JHS Angry Charlie V3

Channel Drive Pedal from JHS. This is the bigger, badder brother to the Charlie Brown pedal.

"Modern Marshall tones that lean toward the classic JCM 800. Heavy overdrive and distortion that is rich in British character, feel and attitude. A specially designed three band EQ allows you to sculpt it perfectly into any ring."

JHS AT+

A channel drive and boost pedal combined into one convenient package!

"Andy Timmons' signature channel drive and boost. British style overdrive and distortion with a boost that will have your guitar singing like Andy's."

JHS Bonsai

All of the classic Tube Screamer pedal tones from various Tube Screamer pedals of different eras rolled up into one pedal!

Bonsai!!!!

JHS Cheese Ball

We have the new JHS Cheese Ball pedal in stock! A great replica of the classic Lovetone Big Cheese!

"The JHS Cheese Ball recalls a legendary 1990s-era distortion/fuzz pedal that was used by U2, Jimmy Page, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, and Wilco, amongst others. Versatile doesn’t even begin to describe this pedal. From violin-like sustain to red-hot buzz to spitty grind, it will achieve just about any fuzz tone you can imagine."

JHS The Clover

JHS preamp pedal.

"The Clover is an end all preamplifier / boost circuit for any electric, acoustic, or bass player. The EQ is simple, powerful and doesn’t allow a bad sound. No matter what style of music you play or amp that you use, the Clover will prove to be an indispensable tool.  While the Clover excels at being a preamp / boost for dirt pedals, the magic is in pushing your tube amplifier into natural overdrive."

JHS Colour Box V2

Like plugging your guitar straight into a vintage Neve preamp.

Sounds awesome!

JHS Double Barrel V4

JHS Moonshine V2 and Morning Glory V4 pedals combined into one pedal.

Great medium to light transparent overdrive pedal that is very versatile.

JHS Emperor V2

Experience analog modulation at its best

The Emperor V2 is built around the topology of a coveted Japanese-made blue-and-gray chorus pedal from the '80s. This sought-after pedal was renowned for its tasteful, smooth chorusing at slower settings and its killer vibrato and Leslie-like pseudo-rotary effects at faster settings. The Emperor V2 employs a real 3207 bucket brigade chipset to achieve its tones, supplying you with a host of true-to-life vintage modulation effects.

JHS Kilt V2 Overdrive

"When the opportunity to work with Stu G came about (legendary guitarist, writer, producer and founding member of UK band Delirious), JHS Pedals engineers couldn’t pass it up. Right out of the gate, Stu G wanted a dirt box that could essentially cover any-and-all ground he needed for his studio work and extensive touring gigs. From that request the Kilt was born, and for the V2 JHS refined it to be a compact and versatile tone-machine.

The Kilt V2 still has the fantastic circuit at the heart of the version one: a heavily tweaked Expandora-style dirt box that gives you more tonal options than you might ever be able to use. The designers use a specifically chosen op-amplifier that offers super low noise, improved slew rate for a smoother structure, and a character that just feels better than the original Expandora.

Then there are three toggles that enhance the tweak-ability even further. The cut/flat toggle gives you the option to cut the low end frequencies to better sit in the mix. When in the “flat” position, the bass response is much beefier than the original Expandora for those heavy guitar riffs or bass grit.

The G1 and G2 toggles let you select various forms of distortion via select resistance values that switch in and out in the clipping section of the circuit. This method is very different than your normal diode clipping selectors that you commonly see on drive pedals. This gives you multiple configurations and tonal options, helping the Kilt V2 cover light transparent drive all the way to a wall of fat fuzz/distortion and everything found in-between."

Features

  • When both toggles are down, you are in the lightest gain setting. Amp-like chimey breakup.
  • G1 flipped up adds a touch of drive for more riffy grit.
  • G2 flipped up puts you almost into distortion land, with more saturation and sustain for lead tones.
  • Both toggles flipped up sends the Kilt V2 into almost uncontrollable gated fuzz/distortion that will cut through anything. For the V2 JHS added the ability to switch the G2 toggle with a Red Remote. This gives you the ability to flip into heavy overdrive or fuzz with a footswitch on the fly, making the V2 just as versatile as the V1 but more compact.

 JHS Kodiak

Tremolo pedal from JHS!

"A beast of a tremolo with all the modern amenities you could want in a small package. The Kodiak will give your tone a bear hug!"

JHS Moonshine V2

JHS take on the classic tubescreamer circuit!

"Non-transparent overdrive that goes down as smooth as your grandaddy's White Lightning. Thick rich mids, clear top end, the best bass response of any drive we make, more volume than you will ever need, and the ability to do medium/high gain overdrive like nothing you've ever heard make this a hard habit to kick."

JHS Morning Glory V4

The most known and praised overdrive pedal from JHS!

"Transparent low/medium gain overdrive that never gets in the way. The overdrive you've always wanted but could never find."

"When you are hungry for fat, rich and legendary fuzz tones, look no further than the six course meal that the Muffuletta serves up."

JHS Muffuletta - Green

6 different Big Muff Pi fuzz circuits in one pedal!

"When you are hungry for fat, rich and legendary fuzz tones, look no further than the six course meal that the Muffuletta serves up."

JHS Overdrive Preamp

"In 2019 I stumbled across a pedal that didn’t exist.

Yeah, cue the Twilight Zone theme song.

It was a DOD Overdrive / Preamp that predated the “Gray Box” 250 pedals that everyone– myself included –had assumed were the first version ever made. The pedal was encased in a large gray folded metal enclosure that resembled Electro-Harmonix more than DOD, and it was conspicuously lacking the “250” model number. The typeset and DOD logo were different, but it still had the same charm and quirky feel of the vintage 1970s DOD. The sticker on the pedal’s backplate said “DOD Electronics Company” and listed the home address of founder David Oreste Di Francesco, as well as a number: 75. According to my interview with David himself a year later, I had found the 75th DOD pedal ever made and one of the first ten DOD Overdrive / Preamps (250) ever sold. This stompbox represented the genesis of “America’s Pedal.” For a pedal historian, it was the equivalent of uncovering the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The internals featured a floating/loose hand-etched PCB and the same DOD 250 circuit, but with a few changes. The internal parts dated as early as 1972 and, according to David, were harvested from old radios and electronics he scavenged when he started building his first effects.

The JHS Overdrive Preamp is a faithful replication of this unobtainable V1 of DOD’s most loved pedal. The controls are simple. The Level control adjusts the overall output of the circuit and lets you cut or boost the signal. The level control of this version has been modified (corrected) from the original wiring of the #75 unit, giving this pedal much more volume on tap. The Gain control adjusts the amount of gain inside the overdrive circuit. Turning up “Gain” creates more clipping as it pushes the op-amp and hard clipping into overdrive. We’ve also added a slider switch to this production version, which wasn’t included with the original DOD 250. While researching the #75 “Big Box” pedal, I acquired a second early big-box unit which used a completely different clipping arrangement. It only seemed fair to offer this switch so that you could explore these two variations for yourself.

This “Big Box V1” DOD 250 circuit definitely feels like a 250, but with a few changes: more gain/grit overall and more unique low/mids. This is a must-have addition to any DOD collector’s lineup, or for anyone who's curious about how it all started.

The standard Overdrive / Preamp will be part of our normal JHS lineup. Buy yours today and experience the history of one of the greatest overdrive/preamp circuits ever made."

THIS PEDAL REQUIRES STANDARD 9V DC CENTER NEGATIVE POWER, CONSUMES 5MA, AND MEASURES 4.7" X 3.7" X 1.66

JHS Packrat

All of the greatest rat pedals in one box!

"In 1978, the most versatile and influential distortion pedal of all time was invented in Kalamazoo, MI. Scott Burnham and Steve Kiraly first had the idea after playing, repairing and modifying all the available distortion pedals on the market. They wanted something that didn’t exist in the then mainstream throes of MXR, DOD and even BOSS’s product line; they wanted a pedal that could go from overdrive to distortion and then all the way to fuzz. By 1979 Scott had perfected the circuit in his RAT-infested basement workshop, and the rest is history.

The PackRat is the ultimate tribute to the 40+ years of rodent evolution and its impact on the guitar’s sound. Artists from every genre have used the iconic tones in this unassuming black box to create their sounds, including Nirvana, John Schofield, Pink Floyd, Metallica, REM, the Eagles, Jeff Beck and Radiohead.

Building on our Multi-Mode pedal series that includes the Muffuletta and Bonsai, the PackRat uses the same unique digital runway system to direct the paths of 261 components through 40 individual switches. This means that when you choose one of the nine legendary or rare modes, you are playing fully analog circuits that perfectly replicate that mode, even down to the aging components (also known as component drift). If you purchased these nine hard-to-find pedals on the used market right now, you would pay around $4,000."

JHS PG-14 Paul Gilbert Signature Distortion Pedal

"JHS Pedals teamed up with the legendary shredder Paul Gilbert to create the PG-14, a new and unique distortion pedal specifically designed to Paul's specifications. At the heart of the circuit is a FET based distortion engine that emulates the touch, feel, and the response of a pushed tube amplifier. This circuitry allows the player to have the dynamics and tone of loud, stadium-level amplifier at low/moderate volume levels.

A second unique and essential feature of the design is that an active mid-frequency preamp is located at the front of the FET distortion circuitry. This design feature gives the user a vast sweep of tonal possibilities with any amp or guitar combination.

The PG-14 is an end-all pedal for adding the ultimate dirt channel to your amplifier. A bonus feature is that it gives you all of Paul Gilbert's talent, decades of experience, and countless years of practice! Just hit the footswitch!"

JHS Pulp 'N' Peel V4

A great compressor/preamp pedal from JHS!

"Studio grade compression that is truly transparent. Parallel clean blend for dialing in the perfect attack, EQ control, DI and 1/4" parallel outputs, built in switchable buffer and even a distortion circuit make the PnP V4 the ultimate end all compressor for electric guitar and bass."

JHS SuperBolt V2

An overdrive pedal from JHS designed to mimic the overdrive from Supro amps

"Supro* tones in a pedal and a whole lot more! This discreet circuit does everything from clean boost to sagging exploding small amp distortion with ease."

JHS Sweet Tea V3

A 2-in-1 overdrive/distortion pedal from JHS!

"Everything possible, medium to high gain. Our very own Angry Carlie V3 and our Moonshine V2 make this a high gain monster that goes down easy on a summer night."

JHS Unicorn V2

Tap Tempo Univibe

"In 2015 we brought you the Unicorn V1 ...the world's first bulb-driven photocell modulator with tap tempo...our very own Uni-Vibe if you will.  This Spring 2018 we are proud to bring you the Unicorn V2!

Pink Floyd’s “Breathe,” Jimi Hendrix’s “Star Spangled Banner live at Woodstock 1969," and Robin Trower’s “Bridge of Sighs” cemented the sound of a photocell-based vibe effect as an electric guitar standard. The JHS Pedals Unicorn is our version of this heralded effect, continuing the inspiring modulation/phasing/rotary sounds that never fail to push musical boundaries. And just like the originals, we included a toggle for choosing between a Uni-Vibe* effect and a traditional vibrato setting. What sets Unicorn apart from all other vibe-style circuits is that it is the first-ever fully analog, photocell-based vibe with tap tempo as well as ratio, external tap control, and external rate control via expression pedal (optional). And the Unicorn does it all with only four knobs and a mini-toggle switch. In a day and age when everything has been seen and done, we bring you the first-ever, 100% analog vibe photocell modulator with onboard tap tempo. You’re welcome."

JHS Unicorn V2 Modulation Pedal Features at a Glance:

  • Four knobs and a mini toggle are all you need for a world of syrupy, modulated tones
  • Left two controls are your tone, right two controls are your speed, toggle is your effect. It’s that simple

JHS Whitey Tighty

JHS compressor pedal will improve your tone and save space on your board!

"The Whitey Tighty is a FET compressor that has three simple controls: Volume, Compression, and Blend. The Volume control gives you the ability to set your volume at unity gain or slightly boosted to make up for any perceived loss from the compression. The Compression knob controls the amount of compression for everything from a subtle smoothing of your tone to a pleasing squash that’s perfect for country, blues, pop, and rock. Use the Blend knob to dial in the right amount of clean tone along with your compressed signal. This allows you to retain some of the natural feel of your clean tone while giving you the studio-quality compression that brings your sound to the next level."

Wampler Belle Overdrive

"The pedal that inspired this circuit has been around for a long time in various forms but most versions of it have too much of a “Hi Fi” sound about them, they fail to get the right mix of clarity and bass that is needed to make this overdrive sing. Brian has added further gain capabilities to this circuit, and added a bass control that controls all the harmonics from smooth and creamy to tight and crunchy.

The sound this circuit delivers is a firm favorite in Nashville and Brian Wampler’s take is everything you would expect it to be – high quality components, a beautiful enclosure, and a glorious tone.  If you set the gain low and the bass control up high, you get a wonderful clean boost sound that can rival any Klone circuit, but when you spin the bass down and the gain all the way up, you suddenly find yourself with an awesome transparent overdrive / medium distortion sound with all the crunch you need.

The Color control is more than just a standard tone control and it’s pretty unique to this circuit. Dialling it right or left will either boost or cut the high and low end a little, but the midrange frequencies are left well alone.  Combine this with the Bass control and you have a very versatile tone shaping palette with Wampler’s legendary ease of use. Brian has also added a push switch on the side which will control the amount of compression and alter the clipping structure in the circuit for some extra punch.

This pedal can add some serious muscle to your country, some extra grit to your blues, and some soaring boosts to rock – it’s such a flexible drive we know you are going to love stacking it with your favorite pedals as much as playing it straight through a clean amp."

Wampler Clarksdale

Wamplers take on the classic Tubescreamer sound!

"The addition of a 3 band EQ (Bass, Mids are active, and the Treble is similar to the classic TS tone pot) it allows a player to have a more tailored tonal pallet than the original. The Lift/ Smooth switch will also allow a player to either sit in the mix with the Smooth setting or allow your leads to standout with the Lift option. Also unlike the original “green giant” the Clarksdale will not “fizz out” as much at low or high gain settings."

Wampler Darcarys

A distortion pedal Wampler built to recreate Ola Englund's sound.

"This pedal has an active 3 band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) you can add or take away each frequency independently. The open/Tight switch - in the open setting the sound is fuller and more responsive.  When set to the tight setting the tone compresses like a tube amp being push to its limit. Power usage designed for 9v to 18v. Sounds best at 9v."

Wampler dB+

Wampler boost/independent buffer in a board friendly pedal.

"The dB+ has all the same great features as it’s predecessor – the Decibel + – but now you have the ability to turn the buffer on and off independently as well in a now micro pedal size. Whatever your needs may be, the dB+ is ready to deliver. From studio or stage, it’s a one-knob problem solver toolkit."

Wampler Ego

Wampler compressor pedal! This pedal has a blend knob so you can mix in some clean signal with the compressed signal!

"What does a compressor do? A compressor adds an element of control to your playing level – it will bring the quieter parts up and the louder parts down. While an ordinary compressor pedal can give you an element of control, a great compressor will give you the “feel” that other average compressors lack. If you’ve played a great tube amp when it’s being pushed hard, you’ll know what a great natural compression feels like."

Wampler Mini Ego

Wampler compressor pedal! This pedal has a blend knob so you can mix in some clean signal with the compressed signal!

While an ordinary compressor pedal can give you an element of control, a great compressor will give you the “feel” that other average compressors lack. If you’ve played a great tube amp when it’s being pushed hard, you’ll know what a great natural compression feels like."

Wampler Ethereal

A 2-in-1 delay/reverb pedal from Wampler!

"How do you describe a pedal like the Wampler Ethereal? Does ambient heaven cover it? Is it the gateway between real life and the astral plane? Or is it just gorgeous? It’s hard to know which phrase to use when talking about it, because they all match it perfectly… plus, of course, so easy to use you’ll be getting those perfectly Ethereal tones instantly. When designing the Ethereal these were the EXACT thoughts running through the mind of Brian Wampler. He wanted to make a delay that is as pure as you could want, with a time of up to 1s, a reverb that is thick and then have the option to mix them all up and put them together in one glorious effect that will send you away… all the way away while making it as easy to use and easy to find those perfect tones as possible."

Wampler EQuater

EQuator - Advanced Audio Equalizer

"Instead of the learning curve that can accompany individual sliders for each frequency, we gave you fixed bass and treble controls and two semi-parametric mid controls that are as easy to harness as twisting a few knobs. Each knob’s frequencies have been carefully defined (with the sweet spots marked) for the needs of players and to offer one of the most flexible EQ pedals out there. Whether you’re wanting a fully customizable clean boost, the ability to fine-tune the tone of another pedal, or to just bring out the best in your guitar, bass or ANY instrument you choose to plug into it - we crafted the Wampler EQuator to be the tonal sweetener you need to get the job done…  Even if you don’t use a pedalboard and are not a guitar player - put this between your instrument and the amp, the P.A., or recording interface… the EQuator will bring it to life"

Wampler Euphoria

A phenomenally transparent and versatile overdrive pedal from Wampler!

"When Brian created the circuit that would eventually become the Euphoria, he was working on creating a pedal that would go from clean tones to extremely fat tones while adding a bit of warmth, a natural overdrive… the goal was to make a pedal that does NOT sound like a pedal – it needed to be dynamic, have a great choice of tones (from  gritty to smooth) yet be able to respond to the volume knob like a tube amp."

Wampler Faux Spring Reverb

A great, space saving spring reverb pedal from Wampler!

"This pedal controls size and depth of the reverb. Tone is brighter more pristine and darker with a more vintage sound.
Power 9 to 12v sounds best a 9v"

Wampler Fuzztration

Another great 2-in-1 from Wampler! With this pedal you get a fuzz and octave pedal in one enclosue!

"Finding the perfect fuzz/octave is pure frustration. Wampler ends that search with the Fuzztration pedal. Change the sound from a more aggressive fuzz w/ compression; to an open spongey vintage fuzz. Different sound, different feel, awesome tone on each side. Power usage designed for 9v to 18v. Sounds is best at 9v"

Wampler Gearbox

Andy Wood Signature Pedal.

"Gearbox features modified versions of two of Brian Wampler’s best loved drive circuits: the Tumnus and the Pinnacle.  This combination makes the Gearbox one of the most versatile dual pedals Wampler has ever created.  A top-switchable stacking order control, dual inputs and outputs, a unique noise gate, premium quality components, along with a stunning finish, makes Gearbox THE single pedal solution that delivers.

Channel 1 (based on the legendary Tumnus) is a perfect addition to any board setup and any playing style. It’s versatility allows you to stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand-alone overdrive, or as a slightly dirty boost, to push the front end of your amp over the edge.

Channel 2 (Based on the Pinnacle, one of Brian’s most popular distortion pedals) delivers that legendary “Brown Sound”.  The three band EQ lets you dial in your soaring lead tone while the unique noise gate keeps the clarity on point.  Stack both channels together for tonal bliss - warm, yet brutal grunt; delicate and controllable harmonic overtones; and beautifully defined distortion that cuts through the mix.

The Order switch lets you select which pedal comes first in the signal chain.  For ultimate control, connect both sets of inputs and outputs to an external switcher to mix or match in parallel or series. Andy named this pedal the Gearbox as it was designed to be the driving force behind your sound. "

Wampler Hot Wired

A 2-in-1 overdrive/distortion pedal from Wampler!

"The Wampler Hot Wired V2 does it all. From Nashville-style chickin' pickin' to heaping loads of fat, creamy distortion, this pedal serves up the perfect guitar tone for any occasion. This is the pedal Nashville studio session guitarist Brent Mason uses day-in and day-out."

Wampler Latitude Deluxe

Tremolo pedal from Wampler!

"A full featured tremolo with a beautiful core tone, and the control to give you exactly what you need night after night. From the sweet shimmering tremolo of yesteryear to helicopter choppiness of today, the tremolo has been a staple for guitar effects. With one foot in sweet vintage tones and one foot in more modern helicopter chops, the Wampler Latitude Deluxe offers the best of both worlds."

Wampler Paisley Drive

Wampler designed this overdrive pedal for none other than Brad Paisley himself!

"Paisley’s requirements were quite “simple”… it needs to be clean but get crunchy with some “beef” to it. It needs to have a fluid tone when soloing. It needs to add a little hair to the tone but then but then has to be able to give flat out ball busting gain, oh… but please do not wreck the tonality. It needs to have everything, in a pedal format, but do not make it sound like a pedal!"

Wampler Pantheon Overdrive

  • Versatile drive pedal based on iconic guitar tones
  • 3-way gain switch and 3-way voicing switch for exceptional sonic flexibility
  • Based on highly acclaimed boutique pedal circuits, with no waiting list this time
  • Ranges from subtle grit to full raging overdrive
  • Amp-like control layout includes 2-band EQ and Presence control

Wampler Pinnacle

A very flexible distortion pedal from Wampler.

"The trouble with distortion pedals is that many of them only serve one function. We all know that the distinguished tone chaser sometimes needs extreme gain, sometimes needs mild overdrive… sometimes needs something that does both of the above and everything in between. The Pinnacle not only does that, but it also brings the most convincing “Brown Sound” to be ever heard in a pedal!"

Wampler Plexi-Drive

This Wampler overdrive pedal beautifully captures the sound of a cranked JTM-45!

"Get the sought-after vintage British stack tone in your pedalboard with the Wampler Plexi-Drive overdrive pedal. The Plexi-Drive delivers that vintage stack sound that defined rock for generations. Dial in your exact tone with Tone, Volume, and Gain controls. A Bass Boost switch adds a bass boost reminiscent of 4 x 12" cabs. Add big tone to your rig with the Wampler Plexi-Drive."

Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe V2

This Wampler overdrive pedal beautifully replicates classic Plexi tones.

"Based on the classic Wampler Pedal “Plexi-Drive”, the Plexi-Drive Deluxe builds on the foundation of the original and gives you considerably more control to shape your tone. With a 3 band active EQ and additional brightness control, the Plexi-Drive Deluxe takes a huge step forward into the modern era of pedals. Complete with the perfectly voiced pregain booster, you can achieve almost any Plexi tone from virtually any amp."

Wampler Plexi-Drive Mini

"First there was the Plexi-Drive. Then there was the Plexi-Drive Deluxe. Now Wampler Pedals bring you the all new Plexi-Drive Mini. Brian has managed to cram an improved version of the original Plexi-Drive circuit into a miniature housing and has added some new features. Since the early 60’s, Marshall Amplifiers® have lead the way in rock tones with legendary tight overdrive and coveted bass response. Early rock legends such as: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and AC/DC helped in creating some of the most iconic rock tones ever and catapulted Marshall® into legendary status. Like the original, the Plexi-Drive Mini’s unique gain structure can cover everything from Vintage ’68 style Plexi tones to the all-out massive rock tones of a JTM-45® cranked to ten, or even eleven…

The all-new Mid Boost circuit switch, never featured on any previous Wampler Plexi style pedal, creates a powerful throaty tube-like boost by tweaking several gain stages of the circuit at once.  The combination of these switches with the Tone and Gain controls offer impressive tonal flexibility from a mini pedal. Many players love to run Tumnus, Clarksdale and other OD type pedals into the Plexi-Drive or Plexi-Drive Deluxe.  For the Plexi-Drive Mini, Brian implemented gain stage and EQ changes within the mid boost circuit to achieve a similar response - the result is astounding, and with masses of gain on tap, things are about to get loud! The Plexi Drive Mini also features our special Bass Boost switch which emulates the tonal difference between a 4x12 and 2x12 speaker cab."

  • Built in USA
  • High-grade components selected for their superior sound and response
  • Famous Plexi Drive sound with custom Mid Boost circuit and
    classic Bass Boost circuit

Wampler Sovereign

A great distortion pedal from Wampler.

"The distortion available from the Sovereign is so versatile you will wonder how so much can be available from one small box. Two gain stages, a mid contour, bright switch and tone control allow you to dial in virtually any sound from modern distortion all the way back to classic OD tones."

Wampler Tape Echo V2

Vintage Analog Tape Echo Tones

"With our hybrid design (completely pure analog dry path with the digital delay layered on top) approach, you get the best of both worlds. You get the note clarity, much lower noise, and longer delay times from digital delays...  You also get the lovely warmth and little exquisite touches that are usually reserved for analog delays. Nearly every part of the pedal, all of its major functions, are analog. The “delay line” is the only digital part of the signal path. It alone being digital brings clarity and focus to the task in a way that analog delay line chips can’t really match. But everything else, all the absolutely vital filtering to carefully finish the sound is pure analog. Every aspect of the modulation that gives the Faux Tape Echo pedal a unique function and tone and makes it desirable for people who want their delay tone to sound as good as tape delay units but without all the maintenance, supplies, and hassle. Your all-important fundamental dry tone is 100% analog, too."

Wampler Tumnus Deluxe

THE mystical overdrive pedal

"With the release of the Tumnus Deluxe, Brian has set the new standard. Thanks in large part to the design’s articulate-sounding buffer, all of the clarity, punch, and detailed breakup of the original Tumnus are still there. But if you prefer the sound of true bypass performance, just hit the switch on the side of the pedal for uncolored tonal purity. Brian also injected the Tumnus Deluxe with a level of tonal flexibility not previously available on this style of drive. Active bass and mid controls, as well as a treble control, the same as the pedal it was inspired by, encourages you to sculpt the tone from this pedal to the demands of your rig. Whether you’re boosting a driven amp or another pedal, using the pedal as a stand-alone overdrive, or crowning it your “always on” tonal sweetener, you’ll find the Tumnus Deluxe’s wide-ranging controls make it much more than just another clone"

Wampler Mini Tumnus

THE mystical overdrive pedal

"Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp over the edge. You can even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, faithful to the original, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right.

The Tumnus’ streamlined 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Treble) allow you to quickly dial in your tones no matter what the gig calls for. We aren’t going to sit here and claim it has magical parts, or we sourced out 60 year old diodes that make it perfect, but we are going to say that during our research we looked at everything available and then only used the parts that Brian chose to replicate that amazing tone."

Wampler Velvet Fuzz

This fuzz pedal from Wampler combines the sound of classic fuzz with the sound of a EL32-powered stack!

"With two completely different clipping options (not just the basic silicon or germanium option like most) you can achieve those classic fuzz big tones that compresses massively across the bottom or you can tighten them up and have it respond more like a distortion. With this you get all of the tone with none of the side effects. Some people say it sounds like a fuzz but feels like a distortion, so yes, you CAN have the best of both worlds."
